New Zealand geographic photogrAPher of the year award - 'photostory' category

In 2014, Fair Projects founder Tim Watters won the 'Photostory' category of the New Zealand Geographic Photographer of the Year awards for a selection of 6 images he took in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary, documenting Sea Shepherd's 10th Antarctic Whale Defence Campaign, 'Operation Relentless'.

Fairfax media - 'the age top 100 melbournians'

In 2012, Fair Projects founders - Tim Watters & Eliza Muirhead - were featured in Fairfax Medias annual 'Top 100 Melburnians' for their work with Fair Projects.

Fairfax media interviewed both Tim & Eliza, commenting "The 25-year-olds have raised the profile of issues from battery hens to duck hunting, recently launching Animal Australia's campaign against Factory Farming."


As part of Lush Cosmetics on-going charity pot program - in which they fund the work of charitable & progressive groups - Fair Projects received a grant towards future video projects, as well as having their very own charity pot made & put up for sale at Lush stores throughout Australia & New Zealand.


In 2012, Fair Projects was awarded a grant as part of the Voiceless Media Awards program. The funding allowed Fair Projects to produce videos that address the Kangaroo meat industry in Australia, Jumps Racing, and Factory Farming.
